Minnie Mouse with these Easy DIY Ears

BE MINNINE.MOUSE
My daughter loves Disney and anything Minnie Mouse. So when I took my family on Holidays last year to Disneyland California I knew we would end up with quite a few Ears before going home.

The great thing about this, is that they are really well made, great quality ears and perfect for reproducing the correct sized ear template.

Because little miss can be a little heavy handed and i dont want her holiday ears ruined, I have made a few different reproduction ears since our holiday (which I will share with everyone soon)  which are super easy and fun to make.

All you need are a few simple supplies.
 1. Headband
2. Fabric of your choice
3. Soft foam
4. Glue
5. Sewing machine

It really is simple and easy to make super soft but Strong Mickey or Minnie ears if you following these steps.
1. Cut out fabric to template of ears which you can find here.

You can make these ears 2 different ways .

Minnie Ears type 1
1. Cut out fabric to template of ears flu d here
2. Cut out foam as per template here.
3. Glue foam on headband approx 2cm apart with a got glue gun or strong fast drying craft glue.
4. Place fabric template around  headband and over foam.
5. Carefully glue edges of fabric  onto foam.
6. Add embelisments  (red sequin bow).

Minnie Ears type 2
1. Cut fabric out as per template here.
2. Cut foam out as per template here.
3. Turn fabric inside out.
4. Sew edge of ears leaving hole at Bottom.
5. Turn fabric correct way around.
6. Push foam ears into fabric ear hole you just left in the ear template sewn.
7. Once fabric is in ear, glue bottom of ear to headband leaving approx 2cm between ears.
8. Add embelisments like red bow.

And your Minnie ears are done !
